Caminito del Rey

The Caminito del Rey is one of Andalucía’s most spectacular walks. The 7.7 km route leads you through an impressive landscape of steep cliffs, narrow pathways and breathtaking views, with rock faces rising up to around 400 metres around you.

The paths were originally built for workers maintaining the nearby dams, and traces of this fascinating history can still be seen along the route. Today, the Caminito del Rey has been fully restored, making it possible to experience this once notoriously dangerous trail in a much safer way.

And then there is the suspension bridge. High above the gorge, it is one of those moments you are unlikely to forget.

Would you dare to cross it?
