Sunshine, soft sand and the Mediterranean right on your doorstep. With around 12 kilometres of beautiful coastline nearby, finding your favourite spot for a day by the sea is easy. 

Marbella is perfect when you fancy a day with a little bit of everything. Stroll through the charming lanes of the Old Town, stop for tapas on a sunny square and browse the small boutiques along the way. Afterwards, head to Puerto Banús for its famous marina, stylish restaurants and a touch of glamour by the water.

Mijas Pueblo is one of those places you can happily wander around without a plan: Whitewashed houses, colourful flowers, little shops and lovely terraces fill its narrow streets, while the hillside location gives you beautiful views across the coast. Take your time, stop for lunch and simply enjoy the atmosphere.

Fancy swapping the beach for the mountains? The Sierra Nevada makes for a spectacular day out, with impressive scenery, walking routes and fresh mountain air. And during winter, you can even spend the day skiing before returning to the milder temperatures of the Costa del Sol.
Not a bad combination for one holiday.

If you enjoy a little adventure, the Caminito del Rey deserves a place on your list. The famous walkway winds its way through the dramatic El Chorro gorge, high above the landscape below. The views are unforgettable and make this one of the most impressive experiences in Andalucía.

Golf lovers are spoilt for choice here.
The Costa del Sol is often called the Costa del Golf thanks to its excellent courses, sunny climate and beautiful surroundings. Whether you play regularly or simply fancy a round during your holiday, there are plenty of courses within easy reach of Hacienda el Sueño.

For a more indulgent day by the sea, head to one of Marbella or Mijas' stylish beach clubs. Settle into a sunbed, order something cold to drink and enjoy good food, music and Mediterranean sunshine.

Travelling with children, or simply ready for some fun in the water? Aquamijas and Aqualand Torremolinos are great options for a family day out, with swimming pools, slides and plenty of attractions to keep everyone entertained. And on a hot Costa del Sol day, a little extra splashing around is never a bad idea.

Even if cars are not usually your thing, this museum might surprise you. Málaga's Automobile and Fashion Museum combines beautifully restored classic cars with fashion, art and design, creating an unusual and stylish collection that is well worth exploring.

Head to Miramar Shopping Centre, just a 3-minute drive from our resort. Here you’ll find a wide range of fashion, beauty and sports shops, as well as a cinema and entertainment for children. Or visit McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Málaga, where you can browse a great selection of international designer brands in a stylish open-air setting.

Of course we have our own Restaurant Vista Lago, but there is a wide choice of good restaurants nearby. Especially in Mijas Pueblo, La Cala, Fuengirola and Calahonda we can give you great tips!

Centre Pompidou Málaga is the first foreign museum of the famous museum from France. The museum of modern art is a real eye-catcher.Inside the museum you will find many famous names, such as Picasso, Frida Kahlo and Kadinsky.

Get a bird's eye view of the Costa del Sol with a spectacular ride in a modern cable car. Not only do you have magnificent view of the Costa del Sol, but also of the Sierra Nevada (with white snow in the winter months) and on a clear day you can see Gibraltar and the coast of Africa.
